Free Software

Below is a list of several free software programs that are available for download on the internet. We personally use them and have used them successfully on many client computers.

Tune-Up and Utility Software

• CCleaner - Deletes temp files that build up over time and slow your computer.
  
• Syncback - Great backup software that will copy files from one drive to another (but not a tape drive). It can be scheduled and will send the log file by email.

Antivirus/Antispyware Software

• Grisoft AVG Antivirus - Free and pay versions are available.
  
• Microsoft Defender - Free Spyware/Adware program.
  
• HiJackThis - Browser hijacker removal software. Technical knowledge needed.
  
• Spybot Search & Destroy - Free Spyware/Adware program.
